Directed Channel Change Selection Code tables enable an ATSC transport to update some of the fields of data in suitably-equipped receivers. The data elements cover program "genre" labels and location information such as state and county name.

DCCSCTs are optional. The codes used in DCCTs can be updated by employing optional Directed Channel Change Selection Code tables (DCCSCTs).
DCCSCTs, if present in an ATSC transport stream, must be listed in the Master Guide Table (MGT)
