Terrestrial Virtual Channel table [ATSC Syntax]

Terrestrial Virtual Channel table sections convey basic information about virtual channels in the transport stream and optionally, other transport streams. The program_number field provides linkage to the appropriate Program Map table section, and source_id field provides a link to the appropriate Event Information table section.

For terrestrial stations, a TVCT is a mandatory PSIP table that lists all the virtual channels available in an ATSC transport stream, and optionally, virtual channels available in other ATSC transport streams.
