hierarchy_channel [MPEG-2 Semantics]

The hierarchy_channel is a 6-bit unsigned integer field in the MPEG-2 hierarchy descriptor that signals, in an ordered set of transmission channels, the intended channel number of the associated program element. The lowest value with respect to the overall transmission hierarchy definition, is defined by the most robust channel.
